Many high school graduates, returning college students, and career changers hesitate to enroll in postsecondary automotive programs due to the financial costs of further education. But paying for school doesn’t have to empty your wallet. In fact, several professional associations, nonprofit organizations, automotive groups, and generous individuals wholeheartedly believe in creating future generations of highly educated, well-trained auto mechanics despite their economic status.

The following list of auto mechanic scholarships are designed to give career-mined students the resources and funding needed to achieve success. Some of them are designed to support specific demographics while others are much more inclusive. And don’t panic if some of the due dates are already past, most of these scholarship are available on an annual basis. Award money is often applied to tuition fees, but some allot funds towards additional school costs too.

AAUW: Lew Williams Scholarship and Leila Sulkes Scholarship

American Muscle’s Student Scholarship
